All the components I was able to extract from my MRI scan. These have not been smoothed using meshlab (refer to guide here https://github.com/miykael/3dprintyourbrain) The majority are ultra low res and are not recognisable.

This is a model of my brain extracted from a recent MRI scan. This is a work in progress and I hope to carve the brain into sections and print them individually using my Anycubic Photon. Feel free to use my brain in your projects - I'd love to see what you can make from it! I got the idea from Ben Krasnow's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Z8uPHL52Q0 I followed the guide here: https://github.com/miykael/3dprintyourbrain

I haven't uploaded in a while, so here is a copy of my brain. Print it out and place it in a robot, and it will make 3D models for you and post them here! ;) I recently got an MRI to check for brain masses (all clear!), and the doctor, noting me as the curious type, mentioned I could get my data on a CD for free. So I did just that, then I used [this script](https://github.com/miykael/3dprintyourbrain) to convert the data (over the course of 16 hours) into a 3D recreation of the surface of my...

This is a 3D model of my brain. During my PhD in 2016, I had it scanned by a colleague of mine, running fMRI experiments in her lab. I managed to convert it into a printable 3D model and thought I'd upload it here. Should you be interested in the procedure I underwent to arrive at this model, check out my (archived) series of posts: - [fMRI scan to 3D print (1)](https://web.archive.org/web/20161018220429/http://gerfficient.com/2016/05/16/mri-scan-to-3d-print-1/) - [fMRI scan to 3D print...

Computerized brain tumor detection from MRI images is one of the most challenging task in today's contemporary Medical imaging research. Magnetic Resonance Images are used to produce images of soft tissue of human body. It is used to analyze the human organs without the need for surgery. Automatic detection requires brain image most important and challenging aspect of computer aided clinical diagnostic tools. Noises present in the Brain MRI images are multiplicative noises and reductions of...

I found a old MRI scan of my brain and converted it to STL. A tiny bit of the top of my brain is cut off, maybe the doc didn't like me and canceled the scan before it finished :D but it gives a flat surface and doesn't really stand out if the model isn't too big. Have fun with my brain... I just printed it via SLA and resin at a 30% scale, comes out pretty cool. Don't know about FDM yet.

Brain tumor is a collection of cells that grow in an abnormal and uncontrollable way. It may affect the regular function of the brain since it grows inside the skull region. As a brain tumor can be possibly led to cancer, early detection in computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanned images are crucial. Thus, this paper proposed a forthright image processing approach towards detection and localization of brain tumor region The approach consists of a few stages such as...

# MRI Scanned Human Brain An .stl conversion of a real human brain from a high-quality MRI structural scan. Cleaned and converted with 3D Slicer from www.slicer.org. Whose brain, you ask? Mine! Collected as part of pilot testing parameters for a study. So, theoretically, I have full rights to distribute this scan. Included are the following files: * The full, unedited brain * The brain split in half along the hemispheres * Files for each individual half.

The need of low-field MRI systems is mainly for biomedical applications and also for food quality measurements. For example, it is used to measure the quantity of fat and moisture in samples of minced beef and meat. Benefits of using low field MRI system are higher accuracy in detection, reduced system cost, size and its complexity. The key element of MRI system is the digital receiver. The architecture of receiver is inspired from advance digital signal processing techniques that are...

Perfect brain generated form prefect MRI. If you have a way of deleting inside let me know (other than manual work) EDIT: Options for printing / modifying : 1. Tilt it to minimise support usage. 2. Use some cool effects in blender like decimate or wire frame. 3. Slice a plaster of brain for cool shape. Or half. It have inside geometry. Great for time lapse :P 4. Print with large nozzle and thick layers. 5. Use only support form bed as it is hard to remove inside.

Model of a "tumor" (irregular solid shape) as a whole object, and divided into 9 slices. The slicing geometry is similar to MRI images, and can be used to estimated the volume of the tumor. This was developed to as a teaching aid for numerical integration. Three files are included: "tumor" is the whole object (unsliced). "tumor1234" is the first four slices arranged to print together. "tumor56789" is the remaining five slices arranged to print together.

After a recent MRI I wanted to see if it was possible to print a 3d copy of my brain. Brain extracted from DICOM info from the MRI using Slicer 3d medical software and the swiss skull extractor add on. The internal structure is a little weird so it makes it a longer print. But I printed it at 50% scale on the CR10S and just over 40% on the Anycubic photon and both turned out pretty cool
